Hero MotoCorp has launched Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition with TFT at Rs 1,16,250 (ex-showroom). Positioned as the new top-spec variant, it brings additional technology and exclusive styling to the sporty 125cc motorcycle.

Key highlights include a 4.2-inch TFT display, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Bluetooth connectivity and a new colour scheme. The Stealth Edition costs Rs 6,700 more than the existing Dual Channel ABS variant, priced at Rs 1,09,550.

New TFT Display And TPMS

The biggest upgrade is a new 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It supports turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call and SMS alerts, and music controls, offering greater convenience for daily commuting.

Another important addition is TPMS, which Hero claims is a segment-first feature in the sporty 125cc motorcycle category. It provides real-time tyre pressure readings and alerts riders when pressure requires attention.

The Stealth Edition also comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, three riding modes – Rain, Road and Sport – and cruise control. These features make it one of the more comprehensively equipped motorcycles in the 125cc segment.

Exclusive Midnight Black Colour

Hero has introduced a Midnight Black colour scheme with Pearl Red accents for the Stealth Edition. Coloured alloy wheels further distinguish it from regular variants. The overall design remains unchanged, retaining the angular headlamp, sharp fuel tank extensions, split-seat setup and sporty bodywork.

Existing Xtreme 125R variants are offered in multiple colours, including Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, Stallion Black, Abrax Orange, Black Moon Yellow, Black Cocktail Blue and Black Leaf Green. The Dual Channel ABS variant also gets Black Pearl Red and Black Matshadow Gray.

Engine And Specifications

Mechanically, Xtreme 125R continues with its 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 11.4 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Hero claims 0-60 km/h acceleration in 5.7 seconds and fuel efficiency of 66 km/l.

The motorcycle uses a diamond frame with 37mm telescopic front forks and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock. The dual-channel ABS setup includes a 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc. Other specifications include 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10-litre fuel tank, 794mm seat height, 180mm ground clearance and 1,319mm wheelbase.

Pricing And Availability

With the addition of Stealth Edition, Xtreme 125R is now priced between Rs 91,500 and Rs 1,16,250 (ex-showroom). The new variant commands a Rs 6,700 premium over the existing Dual Channel ABS model, primarily for its TFT display, TPMS and exclusive styling. Hero Xtreme 125R Stealth Edition is available at dealerships across India. It competes with TVS Raider 125 and Honda CB125 Hornet in the sporty 125cc segment.
