An action sequence featuring Sita and Lakshmana fighting off three wolf-like creatures has surfaced online, from the international version of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Rise of a Legend. The scene, which is missing from the Indian theatrical version, has sparked discussion among viewers, with many questioning why the makers left it out of the domestic release.

The sequence takes place during Rama, Sita and Lakshmana's exile in the forest, following the Surpanakha episode. It is connected to the confrontation involving the 14,000 Rakshasas led by Khara, Dushana and Trishira.

In the scene, an injured Lakshmana and Sita are seen fleeing the forest as three ferocious, wolf-like creatures chase them. The duo eventually take shelter inside a cave behind a waterfall. As the creatures approach, Sita picks up her weapons and prepares to defend herself. Lakshmana also gets ready to fight despite his injuries.

Just when the situation appears to be getting dangerous, three arrows strike the creatures, bringing them down. The sequence then reveals Rama, who comes to their rescue with his bow and arrow.

The action-packed moment has attracted attention on social media, particularly for its visual effects and Rama's dramatic intervention. Several viewers have questioned why the sequence was not included in the Indian theatrical cut, especially when the footage is part of the international version.

The discussion has also brought attention to the different versions prepared for domestic and international audiences. Earlier reports suggested that the international English version was approximately 30 minutes shorter than the Indian Hindi version, with songs and certain narrative portions trimmed to suit overseas audiences. However, the appearance of this additional action sequence in footage from an international version has raised further questions about the editing choices.

As of now, the makers have not issued an official clarification about the missing sequence or whether it will be restored in subsequent releases.

Meanwhile, Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana: Rise of a Legend is expanding its international theatrical reach with a scheduled release in Hong Kong on November 12. Advance bookings have opened across the Broadway cinema network, including screenings at Premiere Elements. The film will be screened in Hindi with Mandarin and English subtitles.

The Hong Kong release comes as the Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash-starrer continues its impressive box office run. According to Sacnilk, the film has collected an estimated Rs 375.50 crore worldwide in its first three days, putting it within reach of the Rs 400-crore milestone.
