PWInsider Select has reported that a major part of the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel broadcast will be remotely engineered from the company’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut, with production and satellite trucks stationed there to handle certain elements.
WWE is expected to have less staff than usual in Saudi Arabia, though a “sizeable” amount of production crew will notably be present.
Production elements such as cameras, sound, equipment, and more will be set up by the on-site staff, and transmitted back to the United States so those at HQ can produce remotely as if they were actually in Riyadh.
The update comes after it was reported that WWE offered $3,000 in hazard pay to crew members who are making their way to the region for the event.
