PITCH AND WEATHER CONDITIONS
Weather Conditions
Partly sunny conditions are expected at Karen Junction Oval, Melbourne, throughout the day, with temperatures likely to range between 14°C and 9°C.
MRW vs ADSW Pitch Report
The pitch at Melbourne's Junction Oval is generally batting-friendly, particularly as the match progresses. However, fast bowlers may get some assistance during the initial overs, meaning batters will need to be cautious and spend some time at the crease before playing their shots. When the surface offers good bounce, it will allow batters to play their shots freely, while chasing teams have generally enjoyed more success at this venue. The venue has an average first-innings score of around 147 runs.
Toss: To Bowl
The conditions at this venue generally favour teams bowling first. Chasing teams have also won a majority of recent fixtures. Hence, the captain winning the toss is likely to choose to bowl first.
