What's the chances of having an actual Horde mode added? It says something when I have only played through the excellent Campaign twice but have only played Siege (I refuse to think of it as Horde!) for 45 minutes. The mode is okay, but that's the problem, it is just okay, whereas all previous games that have had an actual Horde mode, the mode has been excellent.
Give me a proper Horde mode, and I'll do what I, and only 0.12% of people did in Gears 5, and Re-Up 60 times. I poured 2000 hours into Horde in Gears 5, and yet just 45 minutes into Siege.
It's also telling that just 5,582 played E-Day on Steam within the past 24 hours. That's a drop of 81% in player numbers on Steam since the game launched, which bearing in mind that the 31,517 all time peak were people that paid for the game is very telling. These weren't people trying the game on Game Pass, they had spent £70 or more to play the game. Basically, the Gears community is falling away from the game in significant numbers, and The Coalition need to sort this out quickly. And to think that GTA 6 hasn't even released yet. That game could well be devastating for E-Day player numbers, as if the numbers weren't bad enough already...
I'm playing the Game daily so I should get this skin tomorrow - not that I play versus.
I do miss the traditional Horde and Beast mode, but I'm still enjoying Horde Siege - its more of an Extraction mode than a Horde mode but its not too bad and preferable to Versus.
As you only play as Gears in Horde Siege, I doubt I'll use the Raam skin, but I'll still claim it.
