Meta has added customizable spaces to Muse, letting users turn written prompts into interactive planners, dashboards and games that can draw updates from connected apps.

Users begin by describing what they want Muse to create, then can ask the assistant to change a space’s appearance or add features. Examples include music trackers, trivia games, wedding planners and trip planners, as well as tools for shopping and school schedules.

A shopping space could bring together gift ideas, Instagram saves and Marketplace listings. A school dashboard could pull events from school emails into a calendar. The examples show how spaces can gather information and activities in one place, with connected apps able to refresh details in the background.

Users can check off items, add notes and edit content directly within a space. They can also choose where spaces appear in Muse: in the sidebar, among the main tabs, hidden until needed or on a schedule.

The feature became available Nov. 6 wherever Muse is offered. Meta is exploring ways for users to share spaces and work on them together, but has not announced a timetable for those options.
