OnePlus 16R Expected to Feature 185Hz OLED Display
The smartphone is tipped to feature a 1.5K flat OLED panel with a 185Hz refresh rate. If accurate, this would make the device a good option for users who prioritise smooth visuals particularly while gaming and navigating supported applications. The flat-screen design could also appeal to users who prefer it over curved displays.
However, details such as the display size, peak brightness and HDR support have not surfaced yet.
OnePlus 16R Could Use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
OnePlus 16R is expected to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset tipped to be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This combination should offer fast app loading, smoother multitasking and improved data transfer speeds.
The exact RAM and storage configurations have not been revealed so far.
OnePlus 16R Camera Specifications Tipped
According to the latest leak, the smartphone could feature a 200-megapixel or 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). The rear camera setup is also tipped to include a dedicated 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3.5x optical zoom.
For now, the exact primary camera sensor remains unclear and more information about the supporting camera hardware and front camera is also awaited.

The smartphone is tipped to pack an approximately 9,000mAh battery, which would be considerably larger than what is typically found in conventional flagship smartphones. Apart from the large battery capacity, OnePlus could also offer 100W fast charging support to reduce charging time.
