Vivo is steadily gearing up for the launch of Vivo V80 FE 5G in different markets including India. After appearing in multiple certifications, the smartphone has now surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform revealing its processor, RAM and software details. The device has previously appeared on India’s BIS certification database hinting at the possibility of an India launch soon.
Vivo V80 FE Appears on Geekbench
As spotted by tipster Anvin on X, the Vivo V80 FE 5G has appeared on Geekbench for the first time. The listing identifies the smartphone with model number V2624, which is the same model number associated with the device in earlier reports.
The benchmark listing reveals that the smartphone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset and come with 8GB of RAM. It also mentions Android 17 as the operating system.
Vivo V80 FE Geekbench Scores
The Vivo V80 FE 5G has recorded a single-core score of 911 points and a multi-core score of 3,118 points on Geekbench.
Notably, benchmark results can vary depending on the testing conditions and software version so the scores may change on the final retail unit.
Vivo V80 FE Specifications Revealed
Previously, Vivo V80 FE 5G was listed on Vivo’s official Philippines website revealing several of its expected specifications.
As per the listing, the smartphone features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,750 × 1,260 pixels. The screen will support a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3,000 nits of local peak brightness and 1,800 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM). It is also expected to support the P3 wide colour gamut.
It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo is expected to offer two configurations, the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
For photography, the V80 FE 5G will feature a dual rear camera setup. This includes a 50-megapixel ZEISS primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ZEISS ultrawide camera with autofocus. On the front, the phone is expected to get a 50-megapixel ZEISS selfie camera with autofocus. Both front and rear cameras will support video recording at up to 4K resolution.
The smartphone will also pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging.
Other expected features include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster and a USB 2.0 port.
Vivo V80 FE Launch Timeline: What to Expect
The Vivo V80 FE 5G has already appeared on the company’s official Philippines website, while its model number V2624 has also been spotted on India’s BIS certification database.
These appearances suggest that Vivo could be preparing the smartphone for availability in multiple markets. However, the company has not yet announced an official India launch date or confirmed its pricing.
