Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal gave fans a special Diwali surprise this year, sharing their first clear family photograph with son Vihaan. Posted just a day after the little one's first birthday, the picture shows the three dressed in festive traditional outfits, celebrating their first Diwali as a family of three.
Katrina shared the photograph on Instagram on Sunday with the caption, "Our brightest Diwali yet. Wishing everyone love, light and happiness (sic)." And it's little Vihaan who steals the show in the picture.
Dressed in a cream kurta-pyjama and a yellow printed Nehru jacket, he stands between his parents, smiling at the camera with one hand raised. Katrina, seated on the floor in a bright yellow embroidered outfit, holds him close and looks at him with a smile. Vicky, in a cream embroidered kurta, sits beside his son, resting a hand gently on his hip as he smiles for the camera.

The picture comes shortly after Vihaan turned one on November 7. Katrina and Vicky welcomed their first child on the same date in 2025, announcing his arrival with a joint post that read, "Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our baby boy."
The couple had announced their pregnancy in September 2025 with a Polaroid-style photograph of Vicky holding Katrina's baby bump. "On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude," they wrote at the time.
A few months after his birth, in January 2026, the actors finally revealed their son's name. Sharing a photograph of his tiny hand held between theirs, they introduced him as Vihaan Kaushal. "Our Ray of Light. Vihaan Kaushal. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world is changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words (sic)," their caption read.
The name also caught the attention of Vicky's fans, who spotted a connection to his 2019 film Uri: The Surgical Strike. The actor played Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in the Aditya Dhar directorial, prompting fans to point out the possible nod in the comments.
Katrina and Vicky married on December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan. On the work front, Katrina was last seen in Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas, alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Vicky, meanwhile, has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, lined up for release on January 21, 2027. He's also shooting for Mahavatar.
