Launched in August 2026 at Rs 2.22 lakh for the standard variant and Rs 2.62 lakh for the E-Clutch version, both ex-showroom, the Rebel 300 had been awaiting detailed India-specific specifications. The wait is now over.
Honda has officially revealed the India-spec Rebel 300’s technical specifications on its website, revealing its power output, weight, dimensions and equipment as customer deliveries approach. The update comes after the first motorcycles began reaching BigWing dealerships earlier this month. Hat tip to automotive enthusiast Ajendra for sharing this update.
Honda Rebel 300 India Specs
Honda lists the Rebel 300 with a 286.01cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine producing 20.3 kW, equivalent to approximately 27.6 PS, at 8,000 rpm. Peak torque is rated at 24.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm. Both variants get a six-speed gearbox. The standard motorcycle features an assist and slipper clutch, while the higher-priced version adds Honda’s E-Clutch system.
This allows riders to start, stop and change gears without using the clutch lever, although gear selection still requires the foot-operated shifter. Riders can also use the clutch lever conventionally. The E-Clutch variant weighs 176 kg, making it 3 kg heavier than the 173 kg standard version. Both have an 11.2-litre fuel tank.
690 mm Seat Height, TFT Display And Navigation
Honda Rebel 300 measures 2,200 mm in length, 808 mm in width and 1,125 mm in height, with a 1,506 mm wheelbase. Seat height is confirmed at 690 mm, while ground clearance stands at 129 mm. The low seat should help riders place their feet on the ground, although clearance over taller speed breakers will need consideration.
Suspension comprises telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. The motorcycle uses 16-inch wheels, with a 130/90 front tyre and a 150/80 rear tyre. Honda also confirms dual-channel ABS.
The equipment list includes LED headlamps and tail lamps, a TFT instrument display, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a Type-C charging port. The TFT confirmation also updates our earlier description of a compact circular digital console.
Deliveries Expected To Begin Soon
Earlier buyer communications suggest Honda BigWing in Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, reportedly received two Rebel 300 motorcycles on November 4, both said to be E-Clutch versions. Deliveries are likely to start in coming days. These remain dealer-level estimates rather than a confirmed nationwide schedule.
With motorcycles reaching showrooms and official specifications now published, the Rebel 300 is moving closer to customer handovers. Delivery commencement, however, is yet to be confirmed in the information shared with us.
