Spotted at a dealer yard, the Scorpio N Edition One gets a revised front-end treatment, special badges and a new interior colour theme
Mahindra appears to be preparing a new Scorpio N Edition One, with an undisguised example spotted at a dealer yard ahead of its launch. Video shared by Saurabh Singh Car reveals exterior detailing and a Wine Red interior, giving the SUV a distinct appearance alongside the regular range.
The sighting comes three months after the August 2026 Scorpio N update, which introduced larger displays, a panoramic sunroof and additional technology across selected variants. The Edition One appears to build on that updated model, although Mahindra has yet to announce its pricing, variant availability or complete equipment list.
New Grille And Edition One Badges
The most noticeable exterior change is the revised grille (inspired by the Lifestyler Pickup), which replaces the regular Scorpio N’s prominent vertical elements with a layered horizontal pattern. Bright rectangular inserts sit within the dark grille, with Mahindra’s Twin Peaks emblem positioned centrally.
The grille changes the appearance of the front fascia while retaining the familiar headlamp shape, sculpted bonnet and lower fog-lamp housings. Chrome detailing continues across the upper grille edge and around the lower bumper area.
The spotted SUV wears a black exterior finish, complemented by bright window trim, roof rails, door-handle accents and side steps. Edition One badges are visible on the front doors and rear quarter panels, identifying the special version. Whether black will be the only colour offered remains unknown.
Wine Red Interior Revealed
Inside, the Edition One introduces a Wine Red theme across the dashboard, door pads and seat upholstery. It contrasts with the darker upper dashboard and lower cabin plastics, while metallic-finished trim surrounds the air vents, door pulls and centre console.
This provides a clear visual distinction from the brown-and-black cabin associated with the regular Scorpio N. The images show a second-row bench seat, along with rear AC vents behind the front centre armrest. An automatic gear selector is also visible, confirming that the Edition One has an automatic transmission.
Appears Based On A Higher Variant
The Edition One shown features a panoramic sunroof, large floating touchscreen, push-button start and alloy wheels. These details suggest it is based on a higher variant, potentially near the top of the Scorpio N range. However, the exact donor trim has not been confirmed. Features such as Level 2 ADAS, the surround-view camera system, seat ventilation and the Sony audio setup are likely to be on offer.
Builds On August’s Feature Upgrade
Mahindra’s August 2026 revision added the Z8S variant, bringing a 12.3-inch touchscreen and 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster to the range, alongside connected features and additional equipment. Higher trims gained features including newly designed alloys, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, ventilated front seats and a powered driver’s seat.
The Z8L received the panoramic Skyroof, 540-degree surround-view system with Blind View Monitor and Level 2 ADAS. The Edition One therefore appears primarily focused on styling and cabin differentiation, rather than another comprehensive technology update.
Price And Launch Details Awaited
Edition One is expected to retain the regular Scorpio N’s petrol and diesel powertrain options. For reference, the updated Scorpio N launched in August at Rs 13.69 lakh to Rs 25.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Edition One pricing and any premium over the corresponding regular variants are awaited.
