The festive season is almost here, and this means there are multiple launches happening in the auto industry. We take a closer look at what the current month will have to offer in terms of new launches and unveils.
Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric
Mercedes-Benz has opened the innings for November 2026 by launching the new electric GLC in India, with prices starting at Rs. 78.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks the second generation of the electric SUV in India, which is locally assembled.
At the heart of the GLC Electric is a 94kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors and a WLTP-certified range of 711km on a single charge. The power output stands at 482bhp and 800Nm. Deliveries of the model have already commenced, and it is sold out until March 2027.
Feature highlights of the 2026 GLC EV include the signature MBUX hyperscreen, Level 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, wireless mobile chargers, front seats with ventilation and massage function for the front occupants, auto-park, ambient lighting, AMG styling package, and all-LED lighting.
Denza Z9 GT
Chinese automobile brand BYD is all set to bring its luxury marquee, Denza, to the Indian market on 13 November. The company has already begun setting up dealerships across the country. While the first model, called the Z9 GT, has already been spotted in India and confirmed for a debut, the carmaker is also likely to showcase the D9 luxury MPV, which is it's answer to the likes of the MG M9 and the Toyota Vellfire.
The Z9 GT is a shooting brake body-style car with a 122kWh battery pack paired with three electric motors that belt out a combined output of 1,139bhp and 1,210Nm. Capable of sprinting from 0-100kmph in 2.7 seconds, it has a top speed of 277kmph and a claimed range of 599km on a single charge.
Hyundai Neira
Hyundai showcased a new MPV in concept form earlier this year, called the Neira. The Korean automobile manufacturer is now set to unveil the production-ready version of this car on 20 November in Indonesia.
Essentially a rebadged version of the Kia Carens Clavis EV, the Neira will remain largely identical to Kia's electric MPV. Notably, it will come to India in 2027 and will be offered across both ICE and EV powertrains. Key rivals to the Neira will include the Ertiga and XL6 in the ICE format, and the upcoming YMC electric MPV in the EV format.
Updated Toyota Innova Hycross
Short on the heels of introducing the Glanza facelift, Toyota is now ready for its next product offensive slated for 25 November. While we do know that this will be an update for the Innova Hycross, details regarding what this update will include remain under wraps.
The Innova Hycross, which is sold in multiple international markets, recently received a mid-life facelift in Indonesia. We expect these updates, which include a tweaked exterior design and minor feature enhancements, to make their way to the India-spec model later this month.
The model is currently retailed with 2.0-litre petrol and petrol-hybrid powertrains, paired with CVT and e-CVT units, respectively. It remains to be seen if the Japanese brand makes any changes to the technical specifications of this offering.
Mini Cooper SE and Paul Smith Edition
Set to be launched towards the end of the month will be not one but two new offerings in the Mini range. Called the Cooper SE and the Paul Smith Edition, the prices of these new cars will be out on 27 November.
The Cooper SE makes a return in a new generation, and sources power from a 54.2kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 402km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Paul Smith Edition is a special edition that gets cosmetic changes like special paint options, Nottingham Green finish for the mirrors, grille, and wheel hub caps, fresh design for the 18-inch wheels, and a new interior theme. Internationally, it is available across 3-door, 5-door, electric, and 3-door convertible versions, although it has not been revealed which of these would be offered in India.
Mahindra Scorpio N Edition One
Yet another special edition that is right around the corner, the Scorpio N Edition One is expected to be launched around the festive season. It will benefit from minor changes like a new grille and special edition badges. Changes to the feature list, if any, have not been revealed or leaked as yet.
Under the hood, the Scorpio N Edition One could be offered with the same 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engines paired with six-speed manual and torque converter automatic units. A 4WD variant could also join the lineup.
